Love my new temp!

A couple days ago, I was stalking the blog of an fellow BC Buddie of mine *waves to Nicole* and noticed she had the coolest winter template. So I was snooping around and found out where she got it from and voila....got my previous pink template. My buddie came for a visit to my blog and I went back to visit hers and noticed she had a new Valentines one up.....sooo I went back to see if they had any others and noticed the "NEW" pink Valentine's theme and put it up.

Well today was a boring day at home. My oldest son "D" missed a day of school since he was coughing so bad. He's on the school handball team so he missed the game after school today he was totally bummed out. Today is the day I usually go to Curves to do my work out but hubby was too busy today get pick me up so I was kinda bummed. I just did some laundry, surfed the web and did a bit of house work!! Oh YAWN...HO-HUM!!!
I'm soooo p***ed off right now!! I go FREEBIE Scrap collecting and I had a whole shizzzzz load of scraps I had put on my external. Well I was transferring them on to my hard drive to burn and I did manage to get alot off, but then my external shut me out and then I kept getting a CORRUPT message!! So I cleaned out some files n defragged etc and it looks like I lost all my scrap kits and all my PICTURES!!! Ohhh man I am sooooo choked!!! Stupid hard drive!!! Then after that my computer began acting up and ran slower than a fricken turtle!! So I have been busy being a tech geek...lol....hoping it was just a glitch and that when I shut down my computer next I will have full access to my external!!
Well...its time to start making dinner for the crew!!

The Worst Recyclers in Canada?? Manitobans!

Wow...I was reading through the newspages on the web,
and found an article about the worst recyclers in Canada.

The province that holds that title is Manitoba! Manitobans are topping the scales at more than 1 million tonnes of trash a year - and thereby earning the dubious distinction of being the worst recyclers in the country. WOW!!! Come on people...all things that are recyclable need to be recycled!! At a time when the rest of Canada is diverting almost one-quarter of its garbage away from landfills, Manitoba has gone in the other direction. Manitobans are throwing away 100,000 tonnes more now than they were in 2002, according to the figures from the province. They're also tossing out more waste per capita than the national average. While Nova Scotia diverts 40 per cent of its waste and 99 per cent of households recycle, Manitoba only diverts 13 per cent of trash and is dead-last for recycling at 88 per cent, says Statistics Canada.

Adventures and Journies!!

I haven't had the time to create any new Scrap Kits but when I do get a chance to be creative,

A WEIGHT LOSS Journey!! :)
Since the end of February I have lost 20.6 pounds and lost 21.25 inches.
*YAY ME* ~ I am extremely excited and totally motived about this weight loss.
This is the first FULL week of Summer Vacation here!!
The kids go to a FREE VBS next Monday at ACC.
And the following week "D" starts soccer Camp at RRCC.
We are definately having a discussion on whether or not we will be hitting the PNE this year!!
We have gone 3 years in a row. 2005, 2006 and 2007.
2005 & 2006 we went to the PNE just to see Hi-5!!
The kids LOVED seeing them and meeting them. They have become lil groupies...lol..
I think we all have!! Sadly, this year the gang isn't coming to Vancouver. :(
They just did some shows in Exotic Puerto Rico.
So for this summer we may hit Science World and Stanley Park in Vancouver.
Also the Greater Vancouver Zoo and the local water parks.
Plus we have our pool to stay cool on the hot hot days!!
Whew we sure have had a week of hot weather too!!
With the humidity we were sitting at 40c/102F a few days!! The pool was solar heated and it was up to 81F. Today it cooled down with rain and thunderstorms. We only hit 18c which is about low 60's. Time to get off here and go make some dinner for the fam!!
