Sweet Bannock Bread

I got this Bannock recipe from my son's friend's mom.
But I added a lil twist to make it more of a dessert like bread instead.
I also cut the recipe down because I didn't need so much.
If you are watching your calorie intake I wouldn't suggest making this..lol...

Ingredients:

2c flour
2 tsp Baking Powder
2 1/2 Tbsp Sugar
1/2 tsp Salt
1 Tbsp Cinnamon
Water
Canola Oil to fry in

Also set aside & mix
1 Tbsp Cinnamon
1 Tbsp Sugar

Directions:

Place all dry ingredients, place them in a bowl. Mix thoroughly.
Add enough water to make a soft dough.
Break into dinner roll pieces ( I do a bit smaller & they're huge)
Flatten and fry in a preheated frying pan on med to low heat with Canola Oil
Flip after lightly browned. Then remove from oil when other side is browned.
Place on a plate with Paper towel to absorb the oil. Then take the set aside cinnamon & sugar and sprinkle over top bannock. Let cool. And Enjoy your Bannock with butter and or Jam.
Makes about 12 small pieces.
