Kids back to school and seriously???

I thought I'd have more time to play on the computer.

Was I sadly mistaken... lol....

Upper Sumas Elementary School Fundraising.

Ok so Upper Sumas Elementary School is needing some serious fundraising this year.

Their computer lab was updated and now owes some serious money to the Abbotsford School District.

I was wondering if there was anyone in the Abbotsford, BC area is able to help out the school.

There is a Fall Country Concert being held next Friday September 24th, from 6-9pm. Tickets for kids ages 2-12 are $10.00 each & tickets for adults are $15.00 each. A BBQ dinner is included with your ticket. If you would like to purchase any tickets from me, please let me know by posting a comment here and we can make arrangements. 2 of the names at this Fall Country Concert are Kristal Barrett and Stephanie Spence.. & some more actsas well although I'm not sure on all those details yet.

Lunch Date

Today a friend came over for coffee after I spent my morning cleaning up the pig stye.

I have one messy 7 yr old and the 11 yr old is only slightly cleaner...lol...

So after coffee we head on down to the US for a dairy run but before we do they,

we stopped off at Bob's Burgers N Brew in Sumas, Washtingon.

The serving sizes there a massive so my friend and I shared a Bacon Guacamole Burger that had pepper jack cheese & grilled onions with tomato & lettuce & pickles. Dang that was delish. Sadly no brews were ingested. Guess I'll have wait for the weekend for that. ;-)

The burgers there are awesome. If you're ever in Washington State and you come across a Bob's Burgers N Brew... take a friend or starve yourself before going. lol

I took my boys there this past summer.

They couldn't even finish off the kids sized meals. I had to wrap half of all our orders up to go.

Spicy Turkey Burgers

Ingredients:

• 1 lb Ground Turkey
• 1/4 c Minced Onions
• 1/8 c Shaved or minced Garlic
• 1/2 Tbsp Cracked Black Pepper
• 1/8 c Minced Jalapeno Peppers
• 1/2 c Oats
• 1/2 c Minute Rice
• 1 c Crushed Corn Flakes
• 1 Packet of taco or fajita seasoning
• 2 Tbsp Worchestershire Sauce
• 1 Egg
• 1 c Shredded Pepper Jack Cheese
• 1/2 c Parmasean cheese

Directions:

1. Put all ingredients in a large bowl and mix well with hands.
2. Shape patties & cook them until well done. I prefer them cooked on a BBQ rather than oven cooked.

I sauted some mushrooms and onions until soft then added some dijon mustard to them & plopped them on top of the turkey burger.

1 lb Ground Turkey makes anywhere from 6-8 patties depending on the size you make.

Absolutely disgusting display of evil I've ever seen!

My heart SUNK watching that witch throw those puppies into the river like they were nothing but rocks!! Very disturbing to say the least!! :(

I hope she rots!!
