Abbotsford AirShow Weekend

It's that time of the year again for us Abby people.

Sights and sounds of many planes flying around our beautiful city.

Sadly in the 19 years I've lived here... I've NEVER gone to see the actual show at the airport.

I love watching the planes from my home....now I know we don't get to see all the great show they put.

So here's a pic I snapped yesterday while out picking blackberries with Eman.

Check out the cute iddy biddy plane amongst the others... lol...

Hope we see a great show today while we are out and about.

So in Canada August 1st is only a civic holiday in some provinces.

The following Canadian provinces and territories have a holiday on the first Monday of August: British Columbia (British Columbia Day), Alberta (Heritage Day), Manitoba (Civic Holiday), Saskatchewan (Saskatchewan Day), Ontario Simcoe Day, Nova Scotia (Natal Day), Prince Edward Island (Natal Day), New Brunswick (New Brunswick Day), and the Northwest Territories (Civic Holiday).
Quebec, Newfoundland and Nunavut do not have an August long weekend holiday and therefore conduct business as usual.

So those who celebrate this holiday in Canada are enjoying another long weekend.

In Abbotsford it's a beautiful day so we will be spending as much time as we can outside.

Hopefully the sun will heat up our pool a lil more which is solar heated.

Right now it's a tad too cold.

Oh and my first blog post for the month... let's hope I can get back on track and beat my number of blog posts from last year.
