Georgian luger dies in crash in Whistler, BC.

It is with a sad and heavy heart to say that Georgain Olympic Luger Nodar Kumaritashvil had died from the result of a horrific crash while luging an Olympic training run ealier this morning.

Please take a moment to say a prayer for his family & loved ones.
R.I.P Nodar!! You are dearly missed!!
So with this tragedy please take the time out to tell your loved ones how much you love them.
Please give thanks and DO NOT take them for granted because you just never know!

Love My Nucks....

So its 10am here and I am still having problems rubbing the sleep out of my eyes.

2 cups of coffee and yet I'm still not awake yet! I couldn't sleep last night and was up every couple hours!! Ackkk!! Then hubs gets up at 6:30am to get ready for work and that did me in! Up at 7am with only about 3 hours of sleep!! *yawn*
So anyways yesterday we had an early morning hockey game on our TV.
The Vancouver Canucks were playing the Boston Bruins at 10am pacific time.
I had to fight the kids for the TV...yanno how kids love their Saturday morning cartoons..lol..
So... 9:30 I turn on SportsNet and watch the pregame high lights. Then the game starts and.....
Again within seconds of the 1st period starting the Canucks pull a penalty and they Bruins score on the PP. I really wish the guys would stop giving up goals like that. I mean Bobby Lou can only do so much! Yesterday Roberto Luongo was awesome!! Lots of kick ass saves!!
We ended up coming back from a 2-0 deficit to a 2-2 tie and went into OT. No one scored in the OT and we won in a shoot out!! Yeah!!! I love my Nucks especially when they win.
So Tuesday they play Tampa Bay in which I pray to the hockey gods we can pull out another win. Being on the road this long must totally blow! I believe they are now 2 wins and 2 losses on the road. And yeah me... I got asked to be a Canucks Fan Zone Blogger...I'm so stoked. Can't wait to start that blog...I am a very compassionate Canucks Fan but I know nothing about stats so I hope I don't bore everyone lol!!
Today at 4pm The Vancouver Winter Olympics Torch will be in my city just a few minutes down the road so I believe we are going to try and check it out!! Although I am not a fan behind the political BS of the Olympics and how much us tax payers got screwed and have to foot the gianormous bill, I am how ever exicted about our Team Canada!!
I really hope Canada can step up and represent & show the world that Canada is NOT the joke everyone seems to think we are!!
I LOVE being a Canadian!

Well I have some more chores to do around the house and more coffee to drink so I can finally WAKE UP!!!

Game time is...

about to being in about 20 minutes!!

Should you even ask? I'm talking about the Vancouver Canucks of course!
Tonight they are in Ottawa playing the Senators who are on a 10 game winning streak!!
This is where the Vancouver Canucks come in and shake up that winning streak! Sorry Sens...your time is up!!! And this just in .....Andrew Raycroft is starting in net tonight FINALLY giving Luongo a break for an early 1pm game in Boston coming up!
Sadly the Canucks lost to the Habs on Tuesday night, which was a PPV game by the way!
BOOOOOOO for PPV...YOU SUCK!!! LOL!!
Ok ok...time to get dinner started so I can sit and watch the game!!

Happy BELATED Birthday to ....

my E-man.

On Thursday January 7th, 2010 my baby turned 7 years old.
WOW I can't believe how fast the time has flown by.
Yesterday our school district had a professional day so we decided to have Eman's bday party on that day. Worked out great as there were lots of bday parties yesterday & today..lol..
So hubs n I took Eman & Dman to McDonalds for Eman's bday party.
This was the very first time we had ever had a party there.
All the kids LOVED it. They all had a great time.
In fact was told by one of the little boys it was the best birthday party EVAH!!!...LOL!!
Too cool. So I have to tell you the funniest/cutest thing ever.
I'm sitting at the parent table with the other parents when next thing you know I see a girl holding my Eman's hand walking over to her mom. Ok this girl, her sister and here mom were not part of our party but at McDonalds having dinner.
Anyways...a mom overheard the lil girl telling her mom that Eman was her boyfriend and asked if it was alright...not sure what the mom said. Nex thing you know Eman brings the girl over to me and says this is my mom, & my dad. Mom and Dad this is my girlfriend.
I tried sooo hard to keep a straight face...lol...sooooo she looks in my eyes and says to me while pointing her fingers between Eman and herself..."YOU KNOW WE'RE BOYFRIEND & GIRLFRIEND RIGHT?????" I said oh really??? Then I asked her her age. She was only 6!! She knew what she wanted and went right after it!! LOL!! I can see that girl getting places when she is older....lol.... OMG it was too damn funneh!! So she wanted some cake and Eman told her she could...which was fine because we had lots, then next thing you know her lil sister is screaming in my face, " I WANT CAKE TOO!!!! DID YOU HEAR ME I WANT CAKE TOO!!" I was like ooook then...but it was fine because like I said we had enough to go around.
So yeah after the party when we came home, Eman said she told me her phone number so I can call her since we are boyfriend & girlfriend. I asked him well do you know her name?
He said I forget her name & her phone number!! I chucked inside...was too darn cute!!

Welcome 2010! Happy New Year! <:o)

Happy New Year!!

This morning, the hubs n 2 boys, n I rang in the New Year at an all ages party at our neighbours.
I had intentions of bringing my young son home early and put him to bed since he is a creature of habit and if you interrupt his habit it puts him all out of sorts, but we stayed until 12:30am.
Just a quick lil walk and we were home and the to youngins were in bed my 12:45am which is the latest that either of them have EVER stayed up until. They were both up by 9:15am which I found wasn't too bad but wish they would have slept in a lil longer since they are used to about 10-11 hours of sleep a nite..lol... We all got our party on and had a great time!
This was the first New Years Eve in over 11 years that I have been out and it was awesome!
We have some really great friends & neighbours.
So far today has been somewhat of a lazy day...just did some dishes and laundry.
My friend just called me up and now I must go and feed my kids, & do my hair because I am going to her house for A New Years Coffee!! LOL!!
