West Vancouver police are asking the public for help in solving what they call an unfortunate use of family time.
Const. Jeff Palmer says a man, woman and young boy entered an electronics store Thursday afternoon and the man broke the lock on a display model laptop computer.
Palmer says the woman then hid the computer inside her purse and the trio walked out of the store.
This isn't the first time this year a B.C. couple with kids in tow has been caught stealing items from an electronics store.
Richmond RCMP referred to a man and woman as "parents of the year" last month after they were spotted stealing more than $3,000 worth of movies with their kids alongside.
The parents were arrested a few days later and the children were put into the care of their grandparents.
