Spring has finally hit us here in May!! Can I get a WOOT WOOT??
So we finally get a call last week about our son's Autism Assessment.
It's TOMORROW!!! About fricken time!!!
13 months in the waiting which is complete and total BS!!
So I was at the school helping out in the K class and my son's aid tells me that my son is only getting an aid for 1/2 a day next year in grade 1. Half a day is great for Kindergarten. So WTF is going to go on the other half of the day the aid isn't scheduled there?? HELLO!????? HAS ANYONE BEEN LISTENING TO ME??? He doesn't do well with change, he doesn't do well with lots of transitions and having an aid 2 1/2 hours of his 6 hours at the school just isn't going to cut it! Soooooo now I have to go to the school board and fight them on their decision not only of the half a day BS, but have to make sure they don't reassign another aid to him!! OMG he had 3 aids from Sept-Dec and he had just a hard time adjusting to it. This last aid who he's had since December, shes WONDERFUL and he's just now likes and it has taken quite a few months for this to happen! WTF is wrong with ppl??? They seriously need to get their heads outta their hineys!!!!
Oh and on another SOUR note...The Vancouver Canucks lost their game to the Chicago PUNKhawks 2-1 in OT. The series is now tied 2-2. Here's hoping the Canucks win the next 2 games to move on to the next round!!!
Anyways...here's a piccie of some of my spring flowers!!
